New Is Always Better
Animal Heart’s ‘Un-Extraordinary Man’ is a catchy fusion of pop, rock and electronic sounds all worthy of ‘looped repeat’ on your iPod this hump-day. According to their Facebook, the band dubs their genre category ‘Awesome’ – can’t say I disagree. I must also add that this track reminds me of a modern Indie take on The Beatles ‘Nowhere Man’ – that is, in concept.
The tune dropped in ’12 and we can only hope they come back this year with more of this stuff. If you like what you hear, check out their prior single, Miami.
