Today is now March 18th and although the calendar says Spring is coming sometime around now, I’m currently sitting in the Binghamton University library staring out at a FUCKING SNOWSTORM. Thankfully while I’m sitting here wildly underdressed and freezing my ASS off, I can at least take solace that there’s a little bit of summertime, all the time wherever Viceroy is involved. I think one of the most appealing parts of following the climb of Viceroy is that he never loses sight of what he’s all about. First of all it’s never a bad thing to remix Montell Jordan because the original song is a certified JAM; take the same song on a cold winter day, increase the temp to 80, add an umbrella drink and allow Viceroy to give the “Summertime, All The Time” treatment and there’s no denying the awesomeness. We’re no stranger to his “Jet Life” remixes with other products including Gettin Jiggy Wit It from Will Smith & the Mark Morrison track Return of the Mack. He just released his most recent original track Dream of Bombay which you can check right here and grab the free download!

Viceroy is on top of his game lately with summertime songs for days. We already gave you a few of Viceroy’s previous remix efforts and this one is just as awesome. Xaphoon Jones also gave his hand to remixing a St. Lucia song called We Got It Wrong which is of the typical Xaphoon production quality everyone expects taking a totally new spin on the original.
