I can only imagine what this could have possibly sounded like blasting over the monster Ultra Music Festival sound system. Now I know everyone has had their fill of Harlem Shake remixes but in all seriousness when CAZZETTE decides to give Baauer’s hit track a remix, you know you’re only getting the best. Ash Pournouri has struck gold twice with the At Night Management tag team of CAZZETTE and Avicii and it seems they’re doin so well that they can give this one out for FREE! Definitely not complaining.

Although my FOMO was on full blast for the past two weekends, the joy that I saw Ultra Music Festival bring to people was a firm reminder of what is right about this culture. I couldn’t be happier to see Adventure Club getting the featured song with their moving remix of Yuna’s track Lullabies, which I won’t doubt will put some of you guys to tears that are having flashbacks.
A special video to thank everybody for an historic 15th anniversary of Ultra Music Festival in Miami. Attended by 330.000 people and watched by more than 10 million people on Youtube! We really made history together!

In typical fashion, Dillon Francis threw down a very diverse, high energy set during his slot at the first weekend of Ultra Music Festival 2013. Notably included in this set was an unreleased song, ironically believed to be called “Drunk All The Time”. With a rhythmic, fat bass and pleasant, harmonic vocals, it’s yet another example of how no one gets a crowd hyped quite like Dillon Francis. We can only hope to hear this jam during his March 23 set for the second weekend of Ultra Music Festival 2013.

This is the TNJ official Ultra Music Festival 2013 Weekend One recap post. While we couldn’t wait another second to give you the Porter Robinson set at sunset, we decided to hold off until the end of the weekend to give you guys the full roundup of the best sets from the first weekend of UMF. There was no shortage of greatness from TNJ favorites such as The M Machine, Flosstradamus and Major Lazer and don’t forget that Hardwell set that put Ultra Music Festival as a worldwide trend on Twitter. Dillon Francis had a human error moment and blamed it on the a-a-a-a-a-alcohol (but seriously Dilly if you don’t fuck up you’re not trying…just don’t make it harder than it has to be) while Kaskade & Armin Van Buuren proved why they’re festival Main Stage mainstays. Porter Robinson – Ultra Music Festival Mainstage Set 2013

I’m not gonna be writing a post for every set that comes out of Ultra Music Festival this weekend but Porter Robinson’s sunset Main Stage set absolutely blew me away. Tuning in via the UMF live feed, I was glued to the screen for the full hour entranced by the impeccable track selection and frantic but precise mixing of America’s gem of EDM. There was not a single boring second in this set and the crowd looked like they were teetering between having their faces melted and covered in tears.
Some standouts include a 100% In The Bitch VIP edit (we’ll be finding a download/rip hopefully soon) as well as some love from Porter for TNJ favorites Synchronice for their I Could Be The One remix and Jay Cosmic for his remix of Saturn. I’m on my third listen through today and will be doing a aggregate post of other notable sets from the weekend later today or tomorrow…just couldn’t wait a second longer to get this set to you guys!

“These will be the years…” – what a perfect track for the teaser video. Ultra really has done it again; they have just about every big DJ in the world on this lineup. For Phase 2, above is only the 20 added additional headliners. The headlining DJ’s that were added (in alphabetical order): Alesso, Benny Benassi, Dog Blood (Skrillex + Boys Noize), Eric Prydz, Fedde Le Grand, Hardwell, Laidback Luke, Luciano, Nicky Romero, Porter Robinson, Pretty Lights, Steve Aoki, Sven Vath, & Zedd.
