Recently he’s decided he’d find greener pastures than owning a portion of the Brooklyn Nets in favor of opening his own sports agency and signing Robinson Cano as his first client. In a morning call on New York’s Hot 97, Swizz revealed that the song was started in Jay-Z’s office. “I had the portable drum machine with me, then we went down to the 40/40 [club] to watch the game,” he said. “Then [Timbaland] came by and was like, ‘That beat is crazy.’ Next morning, Jay called me with verses.”

Alicia Keys – New Day (Prod. by Swizz Beatz)

In February, I had the opportunity to sit in on an Alicia Keys recording session and, let me tell you, it was an unbelievable experience. For about two years now, Keys has been preparing for the release of her new album which is still title-less; her hard work and dedication is high above most recording artists, which is saying a whole hell of a lot (fans have a lot to look forward to). For now though, we are treated to the release of a record featuring the power couple/husband and wife combo (Alicia Keys and Swizz Beatz). We’re not too sure whether this will make the final cut, but it is definitely dope.

This Saigon track from 2007 is the definition of HUGE. Just Blaze is on the top of his game for this one with a classic beat that blows the roof off and makes for an instant classic. It’s chop sampling to perfection with monsterous horns and guitar riffs that culminate in a complete frenzy guarantee to make anyone rowdy. Too many great things to say about this track so don’t question the download and just click it.
