Seven Lions – Fevers ft. Minnesota & Mimi Page

Seven Lions - Fevers ft. Minnesota & Mimi Page

There’s nothing like soothing bass music and masters of the craft Seven Lions & Minnesota picked today to release their song Fevers which has been in the works for over a year. With the help of vocalist Mimi Page, the track moves from gooosebump-inducing lows to the powerful and emotional highs that you come to expect from these two producers.

Zedd – Clarity ft. Foxes (Aylen Remix)

God I hate having two tests on one day. I’m gonna be rotting away in the library studying for most of today so my posts will be a bit sporadic but with that said, I couldn’t wait to get this up on the site. Aylen adds his name to the list of people who remixed Clarity since Zedd gave out the studio acapella and it has already became one of my favorites. He takes the Adventure Club/Seven Lions approach by employing some beautiful melodic progressions with a dubstep kinda feel to it.

Wolf Alice – Leaving You (Sound Remedy Remix)

It’s safe to say that Sound Remedy is at the top of my list of producers to keep an eye out for in the near future. His style contains a lot of melody and big emotional ups and downs and I would put his sound somewhere between MitiS, Seven Lions and Adventure Club (not bad company). It’s awesome to see the continued influence of guitar in his track’s (he recorded his own guitar solo at the end of his Carousel remix) and this track retains a lot of the original guitar work as well. This one’s given out for free via his SoundCloud so give it a <3 on HypeM to show just how much you love this guy!

Seven Lions – She Was ft. Birds of Paradise

I’m not sayin I called it. But when I brought you the intro post to Seven Lions, we knew there was a winning formula in there. Turns out the boys over at Skrillex’s label OWSLA agreed and are putting out his Days to Come EP this Tuesday 10/16! Besides making beautiful trance-like dubstep, this free giveaway from the EP shows off his ability to produce soothing glitch-hop and only makes me more excited to see the full product! Check the Roboto designed teaser for the EP after the jump!

Matrix & Futurebound – All I Know ft. Luke Bingham (Seven Lions Remix)

I stumbled upon this one a couple days ago and though I had no idea who any of the people that are involved with this song are, I’m thoroughly sold on all parties. I honestly can’t tell you what elements are contributed from Matrix & Futurebound or Seven Lions but the combination is perfect. This amounts to an unbelievable “electro dub brostep whatever the hell genre you call it” BANGER that’s got an old school Skrillex In For the Kill kinda feel to it. Check out Matrix & Futurebound’s Facebook as well as Seven Lions’ and show them some love for reminding everyone teamwork makes the dream work.
