Dada Life – So Young So High (Dillon Francis Remix) [Preview]
0There are few people I look forward to new matarial from as much as I do from Dillon Francis. After Dada Life released the free remix of So Young So High from the mysterious new Dada Land ambassador Andybody, they just publicly released the preview for the Dillon Francis remix of the track. This track is an amazing progression for the moombahton maestro; he takes all of his masterful melodic elements and injects them into a trap-styled edit that oozes of DF. Full release is slated for 11/16 on Beatport and if you don’t like Dillon doing trap…I don’t think it really bothers him.
CUE EVERYONE GETTING MAD THAT I MADE ANOTHER TRAP SONG…. well fuck yall if you dont like it i dont fucking care i love it had a great time remixing it! comes out on January 16 on beatport

The music industry is changing so quickly and it always seems like deadmau5 is sitting comfortably 3 steps ahead of the curve. After releasing his own album a little while back, the mau5 took to Twitter to call upon trance legend Armin van Buuren for a collaboration and the two of them traded files back and forth in the public forum for everyone to follow along. We got a low quality snippet that you guys can peep and download if you’re that committed.

MONSTA – Where Did I Go (Dillon Francis & Kill Paris Remix) [Preview]

I’m not one to usually say I told you so. However, I TOLD YOU SO! Since I stumbled upon Kill Paris a couple months ago, I knew he was a special talent. His soulful mix between R&B and moombah is downright perfect and when I heard Dillon Francis drop I Wanna Be Your Lover at Camp Bisco this summer, I had a feeling the stars were beginning to align. Fast forward a couple months and the luvstep duo have their first official collaboration set for release on OWSLA for their recent signee MONSTA this coming Tuesday. We got a preview for you guys that might be able to hold you over and I doubt this is the final mix so get ready for a big week of music!

Dillon Francis – Bootleg Fireworks (Burning Up) [Preview]

Now this is what I call moombah! There’s nothing that brightens my day quite like getting a brand new luvstep track from the master Dillon Francis This one drops October 30th on Calvin Harris’ label and all I can say is that I will be sitting on the edge of my chair waiting to buy this one when it drops. A big soul sample drops into a classic Dillon breakdown that only gets better as you listen. The full mix is gonna be unbelievable, and just in time to get weird for Halloween. Trick or Treat.

Nicky Romero & Zedd – Human (Preview)

I’m not usually one to put previews up on the site but after hearing this one played during Porter Robinson & Zedd’s back to back set at Camp Bisco it’s impossible to not put this one up. Premiered on Nicky Romero’s SoundCloud earlier this morning, this preview of his collaboration with Zedd called Human is shaping up to be one of the biggest tracks I’ve heard in a really long time. It sounds like Zedd’s gone back to Interscope vocalist Matthew Coma and you can hear each of the producers voices come through beautifully. This one is set for release on July 31st which we’ll be sure to bring to you guys as soon as we can!

Martel – Ricochet (Laidback Luck Remix) [Preview]

I’m usually not one to post previews on here but everyone’s gotta start getting excited for this one’s release. You might recognize Martel from Laidback Luke’s latest spot with Heineken and after adding his vocal touch to We Are The Stars, Luke returns the favor by adding his big room sound to this one. The chillest man in big room bass unfortunately never really gives too many specifics like release dates with these snippets so I’ll be just as anxiously awaiting this one as the rest of you guys.

Eminem – Something From Nothing: The Art Of Rap (Clip)

Ice-T takes us on an intimate journey into the heart and soul of hip-hop with the legends of rap music. This performance documentary goes beyond the stardom and the bling, to explore what goes on inside the minds, and erupts from the lips, of the grandmasters of rap. Recognized as the godfather of Gangsta rap, Ice-T is granted unparalleled access to the personal lives of the masters of this artform that he credits for saving his life. Interspersed with the performer’s insightful, touching, and often funny revelations are classic raps, freestyle rhymes, and never before heard a cappellas straight from the mouths of the creators. What emerges is a better understanding of, and a tribute to, an original American art form that brought poetry to a new generation. Below is a clip of an Eminem bit in which he freestyles off the top of his head. Enjoy!

Michael Jackson – Bad (Afrojack Remix)
0
A bunch of people were really skeptical when Pepsi & Sony signed a deal to re-release Michael Jackson’s Bad album complete with re-masterings and remixes from top producers such as Diplo, A-Trak and Afrojack. Well Nick van de Wall’s effort for remixing duties has been put out on YouTube and I’m starting to warm up to the idea of remixing the King of Pop. This is definitely a great outing from a world-class producer so be sure to look out for all the other remixes when they drop September 18th for the Bad 25 anniversary album.
