Earlier this month, Brooklyn-based indie rock band Parquet Courts reissued their debut LP, Light Up Gold, via the independent record label What’s Your Rupture. ‘Borrowed Time’ is one of my fav tracks on this album – it is superbly noisy, edgy and EXACTLY what I needed to get going this morning. The track possesses a super catchy guitar riff, energetic and upbeat tempo, and is fused together by a punk-y collaboration of vocals and jittery hi-hat tapping.
Below I’ve also posted the album-titled ‘Light Up Gold’ track for your listening pleasure as well. Cheers and Happy Thursday err’body.
