Rick Ross has been a man on a mission as of late, pushing MMG as a collective, as well as his individual artists like Meek Mill and Stalley. But now that “Self Made Vol. 2″ is on shelves, it’s time to focus squarely on “God Forgives, I Don’t” and it’s next single, “Hold Me Back”. The record itself looks to tell a darker story than the earlier leak, “So Sophisticated”, and Rozay shows the ruthless qualities that one would imagine he has from hearing the album title. The joint features real “tough” production by Hit-Boy. “Kiss The Ring” is due out August 21st (the record is building anticipation as we speak). We got the original version of “Accident Murderers” a few days ago, now R&B crooner turned emcee, Ryan Leslie, hops on the track to deliver the remix. R-Les went to his Twitter to dish out the remix, and until we get his Les Is More album, the tune should hold over a few fans. Today is the day this highly anticipated track finally dropped! For weeks now, rumors have been swirling around a “record” recorded with multiple MMG members and the hottest emcee (yes, Kendrick qualifies) on the west coast right now, Kendrick Lamar. This cinematic/jazzy/soulful beat lays the necessary brickwork for all six (that’s right, SIX) rappers to elaborate and spit a full verse, something rare in today’s rap game where a track has a significant amount of features. “Power Circle” boasts over 8 minutes of material; let us know what you think!

French Montana opens strong with this hyped-up club record for his first single off his debut album, “Excuse My French”, which drops July 17th. The Ross/Drake/Wayne combination was inserted, yet again, into another single behind the proof that the trio almost always equate to a nationwide hit (good verses or not). French has truly established himself in 2012 as one of the best “hook rappers” in the game, although only 6 months ago that would be hard to believe. Good choice in sample selection as well. Enjoy!

The tape represents a progressive step in Meek Mill’s career, showcasing his gritty flow and lyrical maturation. The folks over at Maybach Music Group are surely hoping this work propels him into national stardom in time for his summer-slated release of his debut LP “Dreams & Nightmares”. I have no idea if this is planned to end up on the G.O.O.D. Music album or an individual Big Sean project but seeing him and Wale collaborating on tracks again is a great sign regardless. These two are far and above two of my favorite lyricists around right now and they’re sure to assert they’re dominance on the track.
We have a low quality version for now which we will be sure to replace with the full 320 quality version as soon as it becomes available!
