Mainstream – Calvin Harris – Let’s Go ft. Ne-Yo
0
I kinda accepted the fact that Calvin Harris had to go super-poppy to get his foot in the door of U.S. Top 40 radio with his collaboration with Rihanna for We Found Love but it juts didn’t feel like the same Calvin Harris that has been a staple of European EDM for the past decade. He comes back in proper fashion, teaming up with Ne-Yo for a new heater ready to tackle the American mainstream market with a more true-to-life Calvin Harris sound than his last effort. Definitely worth the download to throw on your next party playlist.
Enjoy.

Pop/R&B – Chris Brown | Rihanna – Turn Up The Music (remix) | Birthday Cake (remix)
1
Ok ladies and gents, on top of all the other great music released today comes two of the more, how can I say this, controversial/debate worthy songs to be released in a while? Aside from whether or not the two tracks are hot, the sheer fact that Chris Brown and Rihanna teamed up to trade bar for bar on each other’s current single is surprising and mind-blowing. It’s cliché to say that time heals all wounds, but maybe that’s what has occurred (at least to a certain extent). It’s interesting to note that Breezy is still in an open relationship with Karrueche Tran (an aspiring model). I truly wonder, how does she feel?
Prior to these releases, Billboard received a lot of attention in the media and throughout the music community earlier this week when a “Letter from the Editor”, if you will, was sent to both Rihanna and Chris Brown addressing the situation. I urge you to check them out:
An Open Letter to Rihanna: It’s Time to Talk That Talk: Letter
An Open Letter to Chris Brown: Act Your Age: Letter
Now on to the music…

HOUSE – Madonna – Give Me All Your Love (Laid Back Luke Remix)
1It was bad enough that the Super Bowl Halftime had Madonna in it but now she’s trying a career comeback with a three album deal already inked with the first one MDNA set for release soon. Thankfully the lead single Give Me All Your Love was given the Laid Back Luke treatment and just a couple hours ago was let go through his SoundCloud. I’m absolutely loving the feel of this track its got some real heavy drops and strong synths to get your night going. I may be slightly skewed in my opinion because I’m going to see him April 15th in Syracuse (who’s coming with?) but regardless this track is a banger.
Enjoyy
