Mac Miller

Mac Miller – Goosebumpz (Prod. by Diplo)

It’s safe to say that I didn’t know what to expect when I saw that Mac Miller collaborated with Diplo for a track off Macadelic’s upcoming album Watching Movies With The Sound Off. If you told me that it would be an absolutely absurd track featuring bird calls and sounds like an elephant march of trumpets and profanity, I don’t really think I would’ve have been surprised. I love the track and am really excited for the whole project which drops on the same day as projects from Kanye West & J. Cole; you can hear Mac speaking on that as well as his beef with Donald Trump and the re-emergency of the album up top.

Earl Sweatshirt – Guild ft. Mac Miller

Earl Sweatshirt - Guild ft. Mac Miller

I’m gonna start of with the fact that this isn’t the post for everyone. If you’re down with that vibed out style that seems to embody the Odd Future guys, this single from Earl Sweatshirt and Mac Miller off Earl Sweatshirt’s debut album Dorris. This is just oozing of a little bit of involvement from Mac Miller’s production alter-ego(?) Larry Fisherman.

Mac Miller - S.D.S. (Somebody Do Something) (Prod. by Flying Lotus)

Tonight we got S.D.S (Somebody Do Something) as the first single off of Mac Miller’s upcoming studio album Watching Movies with the Sound Off. The Flying Lotus produced track is as wavy as you’d expect seeing the Pittsburgh MC churning out noise albums such as his Run On Sentences project under the Larry Fisherman alias. It’s awesome to see him inspired and ready to go again after he shared his excitement on a Twitter spew this afternoon.

Mac Miller – On My Shit (Prod. by Harry Fraud)

Harry Fraud - Adrift

New mixtape from producer Harry Fraud Adrift. The project is a compilation of some of the hottest records produced by Fraud throughout the last few years, as well as some new editions like this gem featuring Mac Miller. Mac and Harry (which sounds like a ’50’s TV show) mesh well together – more like this from these two would be a treat. Download the entire tape below as well. Enjoy!

The Come Up Boys – What Are You Talking About? (prod. Larry Fisherman)

mac-miller-larry-fisherman

This is what happens when you give Mac Miller aka Larry Fisherman a hotel room, a microphone, a SoundCloud and The Come Up Boys. I love the experimenting that SoundCloud enables without having to clear “the label” for “a release” and we get to hear Mac…I mean Larry….just fucking around on his free time.

beat made using musical typing, recorded straight in to a laptop microphone. hotel studio sessions are tight.

enjoy.

Mac Miller – You (Under the alter-ego Larry Lovenstein)

This lives on Mac Miller’s surprise EP You which he dropped under the alias Larry Lovenstein, and is less rap and more jazz-ish. I actually like it more-so because of the change in direction. Definitely my favorite/the most surprising record of today.

Mac Miller – Dog Pound ft. Waka Flocka Flame (Prod. by DJ Dahi)

Mac Miller continues to snag big name artists to guest on his tracks and today he dropped this gem over Twitter.

“Dog Pound” finds a more subdued Waka Flocka Flame and Miller rhyming over the smooth, soulful beat provided by DJ Dahi, who also produced Kendrick Lamar’s “Money Trees”.

Mac Miller & Beedie – Paid Dues (The Reunion)

Mac Miller and Beedie were once known as The Ill Spoken, but each went their own seperate way to jump start a solo career. Well, it seems that the two have reunited to reminisce about those old days in this new track titled “Paid Dues (The Reunion)”. The track is produced by P. Fish and cut (scratched) by DJ Vex.
