We know Jay-Z has been in the studio, but the lid is so tight on whatever he’s been cooking up that fans find whatever seeps through the cracks to be exciting. After “Open Letter” put the Internets in a momentary frenzy, the only foreseeable release from Big Homie was his contribution to The Great Gatsby soundtrack “100$ Bill”, which we receive in full today.

It seems near impossible to find someone more boss than Jay-Z and I don’t think it’s even close. Recently he’s decided he’d find greener pastures than owning a portion of the Brooklyn Nets in favor of opening his own sports agency and signing Robinson Cano as his first client. In a morning call on New York’s Hot 97, Swizz revealed that the song was started in Jay-Z’s office. “I had the portable drum machine with me, then we went down to the 40/40 [club] to watch the game,” he said. “Then [Timbaland] came by and was like, ‘That beat is crazy.’ Next morning, Jay called me with verses.”

Oh lord there are few things better than a free remix from Big Gigantic. These two were my introduction to electronic music when they stopped by Binghamton University in September 2011 and I have been absolutely in LOVE with them since then and were lucky enough to catch them at Camp Bisco XI this past summer. Their production is nearly flawless and that eargasmic sexaphone is such a damn PERFECT addition to the classic bars of Jay-Z in this instance. They seem to work in perfect unison with hip-hop vocals layered over their instrumentals and if you haven’t their remix of Kanye West’s track Get ‘Em High you are missing out on life (check it out after the jump if you happen to be in that unfortunate group).

After the SXSW video leak from Jay-Z’s engineer and DJ Young Guru, the official remix of Bitch Don’t Kill My Vibe has been posted on Top Dawg Entertainment’s SoundCloud page for all to hear. Hov’s verse comes in HOT and although it’s got nothing on Kendrick Lamar’s original bars, having Jay on your track is just an awesome thing to hear. I’ll be honest, I was real excited while back when Dillon Francis tweeted a picture of his “to-do” list and it included a remix of Justin Timberlake & Jay-Z collaboration Suit & Tie. He uploaded it to SoundCloud today to stream leading up to it’s official release and after a full listen, I can say that it is AWESOME to hear Dillon explore some new sounds. He chooses to go the trap route and provides the opening bars with an ambient vibe before building to an equally spacey drop sampling JT’s vocals.

Jay-Z & Justin Timberlake Are Reportedly Planning Stadium Tour

If Jay-Z & Justin Timberlake were to make a Harlem Shake video the world might just explode; news that they are reportedly planning a stadium tour might end with the same result. What else could you expect when two of the biggest and most well-respected names in the industry collaborate on Suit & Tie, Justin’s first track in his first single since his 2006 album FutureSexLoveSounds and make huge appearances pre-Super Bowl & at The GRAMMYs? Today, Rolling Stone reports a possible 10-city stadium tour from Hov and JT in support of the artist’s upcoming album The 20/20 Experience when sources told the New York Post Justin was heard on the Grammy red carpet saying
“We’re definitely going to go on tour . . . I don’t know how much I should say. . . . It’s going to be a lot of fun, I know that.”
I’m a HUGE supporter of JT as an artist and respect the level of dedication and creativity he brings to every project; if you think he’s still a pretty boy boy-band artist check this interview with high schoolers from Grammy Camp and get back to me.

Justin Timberlake gave his newest radio-crushing single Suit & Tie it’s live debut last night in New Orleans at Mark Cuban’s DirecTV Super Bowl aided by longtime partner Timbaland and verse done by the man Jay-Z himself. If that wasn’t enough, he also chose to debut 2 more songs from his upcoming album The 20/20 Experience named ‘That Girl’ and ‘Little Pusher Love Girl’. It’s awesome to see Justin Timberlake putting in the time he deems necessary for a new project. Check the videos below!

We told you this was gonna be big. Justin Timberlake released an unbelievable teaser video to mark his first solo release in 6 years while he’s been taking a mental break from the game and what better way to go than doing a collaboration with Jay-Z. It’s a black tie affair for JT and Jigga for this smooth and airy track off his upcoming album. Reaking of mid-2000′s Justin Timberlake, the production is crispy and it should go without saying that Jay-Z kills the verse.
