J. Cole – Truly Yours EP
0J. Cole dropped this tape out of nowhere – and I don’t think anyone’s complaining. To be honest, it may be quite the opposite. Many Cole fans have been salivating at the mouth hoping for new material from the North Carolina rapper, and with Valentines Day approaching, maybe this release with a little bit of love. Entitled the Yours Truly EP, here’s what Cole had to say about it below:
It’s time. I appreciate you giving me the time I needed to grow, experiment, and find the direction for my 2nd album.. And I have. Along the way I’ve recorded at least 4 albums worth of material, lots of it being unfinished demo versions waiting to be polished up, some of them are great songs and important stories that just won’t make the album (either they don’t fit Sonically, don’t fit Theme, or there’s just not enough space) . Tonight, I want to give you a few of these songs because you deserve them. It’s hard as fuck for me to keep all this music from you for so long, so I know it’s been hard for you to wait. Thank you for your patience. Vibe out to these songs in their raw form, no polish.. just a lot of my soul.. The wait is over. Truly Yours, Born Sinner Truly Yours PS- 1st single coming this week. The album is hands down my best work yet. Can’t wait to share.

J. Cole – 2012
0The world was supposed to end today, but in case you woke up, J. Cole dropped this new record called “2012″. In a reflective mood, Cole waxed poetic on why he hopes the world isn’t ending today and sheds light on this track. “If the world ends tomorrow, damn. I would be mad as s**t for 2 reasons. First, I’m not with my family. That would suck. What would also be wack is if I never got to drop this song,” began Cole. Originally recorded in 2008, Cole sat on this until the day of to release. Enjoy!

J. Cole – Louis Vuitton
0J. Cole’s featured verse on Fabolous’ The S.O.U.L. Tape 2 gets some more new life. It seems that the Roc Nation MC is having troubles with the ladies of the gold digger variety with an affinity for the luxury brand. Taking Fab’s song and adding a few extra verses to the record and making it his own, Cole’s been warming up the winter in anticipation of his sophomore album, Born Sinner.

J. Cole – Miss America

Having been relatively quiet – with the exception of a few loose tracks and guest verses — since last year’s release of his successful debut album, Cole World: The Sideline Story, the time has come to see if J. Cole’s reluctance to “oversaturate” the game will pay dividends on his second go-round. Having announced plans to release what will presumably be his second solo LP in Born Sinner on January 28th, Cole unveils “Miss America”, the first look off the project.

J. Cole x Major Lazer – Get Free ColeWorld

In the truest form of thanks any artist can give, J. Cole releases this track over the Major Lazer produced song Get Free with vocals from Amber of Dirty Projectors. This marks the one year anniversary of the release of his debut album Cole World: The Sideline Story so Cole took to his Twitter, saying that “the words were too relevant to keep in the stash.” Good decision.

J. Cole – I’m A Fool [Prod by J. Cole]

Is there anything J. Cole can’t do? Already regarded as one of this generations best lyricists, he never fails to take an opportunity to remind the world that he’s got some major production chops as well. This one brings the best of both with Cole hopping on his self produced beat in a complete lyrical clinic. Gotta love Mondays.
