Wiz Khalifa – Remember You ft. The Weeknd (Official Music Video)
0
We’ve come to expect a number of staples in a Wiz Khalifa visual – Bombay gin, copious amounts of weed, and a “turn up”-yelling cameo from Juicy J (more often than not) – but much like the music itself, his “Remember You” video is just different. The Ryan Hope-directed piece portrays the sexy, seductive, yet ultimately sinister underworld that damsels-in-distress find themselves lured into. Guest starring crooner, The Weeknd, doesn’t actually make an appearance in the clip, but his presence is undoubtedly felt throughout.
“Remember You” is available to purchase as a single on iTunes, and will be featured on Wiz Khalifa’s O.N.I.F.C. album, out Dec. 4.

Krewella – Alive
I love intense female vocals over electro – house beats. Krewella continues to impress me with the songs that they release. Alive is a track off of their EP Play Hard which was released back in June, and is finally now getting some much deserved air play.

Swedish House Mafia – Until Now (Compilation Album)
0
Swedish House Mafia announced their separation as a trio a few months back, along with a final string of concert dates across the world: One Last Tour. Well, they also announced the release of a 13 song compilation album called Until Now. It features some of their biggest tracks they would play live – if this really is the end, couldn’t ask for a better way to look back on the group.

Kinetics & One Love – In My Own World ft. Yung Joey

“In My Own World” is only a sample of the impressive work this lyrical/production duo brings to the table. Upon my weekly ritual, I checked the iTunes charts this morning to find Kinetics & One Love sitting in the top 10 at number 8. If my opinion holds any weight, I’d recommend y’all to support their sophomore album “You Are Not Alone” and be on the lookout for them come 2013.

Frank Ocean – Channel Orange (Full Album)
1With reports running rampant this week surrounding Frank Ocean’s sexual orientation, the soon-to-be iconic figure’s (if I can say so myself) debut LP couldn’t have been released at a better/more controversial time. Def Jam’s original release date, slated for next Tuesday (July 17), was only hours ago suddenly bumped up a week. “channel ORANGE” hopefuls can now find the album on iTunes and enjoy an incredible body of work from one of music’s most important figures. I say important because of his imprint on pop culture and society, two words that (to some) neighbor each other in definition and are always in search of new figures of inspiration and brilliance. Two freebies are provided below because we love you, but we highly recommend you go out and support the music.

Album Release – The Dean’s List – Generation X
0
I was late to arrive on The Dean’s List’s bandwagon but boy has it been a fun ride since I jumped on. The Drive In mixtape is by far one of my favorite early releases from any act as of late and with this album as the follow up, theres no chance of a let down for the boys from Beantown. We’ve given you a bunch of releases from the trio of Sonny Shotz, DJ Mendoza, and Mik Beats and this one only adds to the impressive resume. We’re here to promote music not pirate it so go grab the album on iTunes and enjoy the visuals for their single Youth featuring Sid Sriram.
