Slaughterhouse – Weight Scale
0
I know I can’t be the only person who thinks that Slaughterhouse should be focusing on tracks like “Weight Scale”. And by that I mean tracks where they just rap, rap, and RAP over killer production. Of course, in this case they lucked out by hopping on Salaam Remi’s beat for “Nasty”, as “Weight Scale” will appear on the quartet’s upcoming mixtape with DJ Drama. So what’s everyone think? Who had the best verse here and are you looking forward to the mixtape?

Hip-Hop – 50 Cent – The Lost Tape (Full Mixtape)
0
When it comes to mixtapes no one has made impacts quite like 50 Cent and DJ Drama. Respectively the rapper and the DJ have separately stood as the biggest draws in the underground mixtape scene and now they’ve finally come together to collaborate. In the early aughts 50 built his reputation remixing existing rap song’s adding his own high-powered verses to familiar hits. He revisits the trend with “Riot” remix, a new take on 2 Chainz’s street banger. On “OJ” 50 teams with Kidd Kidd, his new signee from New Orleans. The piano-laced track finds Fif and his new protégé drawing an analogy between their murderous ways and embattled football legend O.J. Simpson.
50 Cent and DJ Drama’s Gangsta Grillz collaboration may have taken five years top materialize, but you can’t argue quality; The Lost tape was well worth the wait. “We actually centered this concept with an idea we created in 2007 and we’re finally getting around to it, so it’s well overdue,” 50 said.

50 hops on 2 Chainz’s record “Riot” and rips it. Although the production is something foreign to 50′s style throughout the years, there’s something about this track that just feels right. The beat’s “toughness” embodies all that 50 Cent has been known to be since his inception in the rap game over a decade ago. “Riot (remix)” is the second track leaked off his Gangsta Grillz mixtape, The Lost Tape, hosted by the one and only DJ Drama.
