Jay-Z To Release Eight Track EP Titled “Live In Brooklyn”

To commemorate his eight show performance at the home of his Brooklyn Nets, the Barclay’s Center, Jay-Z will release EP called Live In Brooklyn.
The EP will feature eight tracks, the same number of shows at his Barclay’s stop, and is set to drop October 9th. It will consist of recorded tracks from his show on Saturday, October 6th. You can pre-order Live In Brooklyn here. The performance last night was also made available for fans to stream (pretty awesome stuff). The release will go out exclusively through iTunes.

Blaise Delfino – Friday’s Finest (TNJ Single Release)

Throughout the first set of months since That New Jam’s inception, we’ve laid the brickwork and established relationships with an unbelievable group of up and coming musicians. Bethlehem, Pennsylvania native Blaise Delfino is one of “them”. Over the last half decade, Blaise has opened and worked with a wide variety of artists ranging from JoJo, Elliot Yamin, and Ryan Cabrera, to Action Item, Pat DiNizio, and Patent Pending (all by age 20). And although I could go on and on about this young’n, this post caters to the release of the first single off his debut LP, “Away From Me”, entitled “Friday’s Finest”. The record boasts high energy and catchy melodic riffs, inspiring good vibes and a track that could remain on repeat throughout the summer months. *As a reward to all his loyal fans (who have both been with him since the beginning and waited patiently for new material), Blaise decided to release this single for FREE!*
Blaise’s talent is undeniable and, at such a young age, there are many signs things will only continue to improve in the future. Autumn Wolf – Vendage EP (TNJ Release)

Autumn Wolf is one of those up-and-coming EDM producers that offers a great deal of talent from an area of the country waiting to receive recognition for the movement that has taken the United States by storm. Hailing from the Motor City, Autumn Wolf aka Alex Kaye has undergone the recent process of unveiling a set of social media websites to compliment the release of his debut EP “Vendage”. This exclusive blog release via That New Jam is the first in a series of releases we look to do with the Detroit native. Review – Steve Aoki at the Westcott Theater 4/22 + BRAND NEW ID PREMIERE

This past Sunday, I was lucky enough to go up to Syracuse with some amazing people to go see Steve Aoki at the Westcott Theater. Let me start by saying that it is one of the most amazingly intimate locations to see a show and with someone larger than life like Aoki, it felt like you and 500 of your closest friends were standing next to him ready to rage. You can see my crew in the flourescent hats in the upper left of the picture!
He played all of his classics off the Wonderland album and premiered 3 brand new songs, one was a collaboration with Knife Party as well as a moombah song which I wasn’t able to get in good quality. I did thankfully get one of the three, a beautiful electro dub song with some great drops. Unfortunately one of the guys backstage killed the power on the sound midway through the track and Aoki never finished it but enjoy the preview.
