Listen to Synchronice's Debut on Firepower Records The Countdown EP Out Now

I told you that this project was huge when they dropped off the free remix of Radioactive by Imagine Dragons and now you guys can all hear for yourself the monstrous sounds of Synchronice. The Saulsky brothers have made their debut on Datsik’s imprint Firepower Records and with a menacing remix of the labelhead’s own track plus two of their own skull crushing originals and a Seven Lions meets KOAN Sound collaboration with PRYSM. Support the EP on Beatport and congrats again to James & Will for a HUGE release.

Datsik – Cold Blooded EP (Part 1)

Datsik - Cold Blooded EP

I’m usually not the first one to jump for a new dubstep release. However if sourfaced, menacing bass music and wobbles is your bread & butter, the Cold Blooded EP (Part One) from Datsik is guaranteed to be your jam. The Firepower Records head honcho released this 7 track EP full of collaborations with peers Excision, Snak the Ripper & Messinian and I gotta say it’s damn good. I gotta say, Datsik has branded his movement perfectly; if you check out the link below to the Firepower Records website below and you’ll see what I mean. Early standouts for me are ‘Automatik’ & ‘Machete’ so grab the full EP on iTunes and enjoy!

Diplo – Barely Standing ft. Datsik & Sabi

diplo datsik sabi barely standing

When it comes down to it, different is sometimes foolproof. With that said, it should come as no surprise that Diplo specializes in different and when you give Thomas Wesley Pentz free reign over Datsik’s sound library the result is nothing short of menacing. I can’t try and pass this off as “new” BUT that doesn’t mean I can’t post it; chalk it up to a recommitment to the throwback post I guess! If you’re lookin for something a little bit different at that sexy ass 110 BPM look no further than Diplo and Datsik!

Datsik Drops 2 Trap VIP Edits

I knew there was a post I kept forgetting to do in all this craziness. Datsik, one of Canada’s leading players in menacing bass music dropped these two trap VIP edits of his original tracks that he usually saves for his live sets. I recently read an interview (I wish I could remember where so I could link it through) where he said he loves the added element trap music has brought to EDM because clearly it only serves to accentuate that sound he works so hard to build. This is just straight sourface bass music.

Terravita – metROIDS

Oh the great memories this track brings!! If you were a kid that grew up playing the original Nintendo game Metroid then this will sure have you feeling nostalgic. Terravita does an excellent job of bringing you back to the marvelous 8-bit sounds we have grown to love. “metROIDS” is taken from the forthcoming 5 track Terravita release “The Power of Fire” coming out on September 4th, 2012 on Datsik’s label, Firepower Records.

Electro House – Katy Perry – Part Of Me (Synchronice Remix)

It doesn’t seem that there’s much in the way of stopping the Saulsky brothers of Synchronice from reaching new levels in the near future. This versatile production duo have touched on everything from heavy dubstep remixes of Datsik to reworking deadmau5’s Sofi Needs A Ladder to perfection and now they turn their attention to Katy Perry.

Combining the best elements of electro house and progressive chords, this festival sized track deserves to be played out for huge crowds in the near future so be sure to grab the free download and throw it a <3 on HypeM!

Dubstep – Datsik – Fully Blown (Synchronice Remix)

These two brothers will never ever dissapoint me with a release. Originally put together for the Datsik Remix Contest, this one is one of the tops I’ve heard. Instant download for me and I’m not a huge fan of real heavy dubstep.

This one knocks.

New Dubstep Album – Datsik – Vitamin D

Datsik, the destructive force behind the crunchier, robotic sound of dubstep, has released his highly anticipated album, “Vitamin D”. This album is packed with a more evolved Datsik sound, containing elements of hip-hop and even metal. However, if you simply wanted Datsik’s older sound, you’re in luck,  because this album’s got everything. “Bonafide Hustler”, “Annihilate”, and “Syndrome” are a bunch of a classic Datsik tracks and “Evilution” and “Double Trouble” are Datsik’s segway into his new sound. Enough of my blabber, pre-order the album on iTunes here :

Dubstep – Zedd – Stars Come Out (Datsik Remix)

Wake up ya’ll, we got a new pounding tune for ya’ll to rage to. Who’s familiar with Datsik? This canadian Dubstep machine has been making tunes for quite a while now, accessing the robotic aspects of Dubstep and exploiting it to make bass heads like me and you completely lose it. This remix is no exception to that, as Datsik reworks Zedd’s “Stars Come Out” by picking out its melodic vocal characteristics and melding it with ominous, phasing chords until a vibrating saw synth brings the song to the drop, and from there, it’s Datsik doing his thing.

Jam to this.
