It is SO nice to have time to just listen to some music and pass it along to you guys with the craziness of finals finally over. I found this one kinda by chance; we get the hip-hop institution that is Q-Tip teaming up with everyones favorite mush-mouth Busta Rhymes to go over on Kendrick Lamar’s huge track Poetic Justice. As said best by The Urban Daily, the two rappers use the beat as a platform to share stories about wardrobe-winning Janet Jackson:
Bussa Bus opens the track remembering shooting the visual for his 1999 duet with Janet called “What’s It Gonna Be.” Rhymes confesses he was crushing on her while they filmed and rather enjoyed when the scene where she backed it up on him.
Q-Tip steps to the mic and takes the time to put their relationship rumors to bed. While he reflects on shooting the John Singleton film “Poetic Justice” with Jackson, he makes sure to say they kissed but only on screen.

In usual fashion, Wiz Khalifa took to his Twitter earlier today to release this brand new track with the help of Busta Rhymes. It actually took me surprise to hear Busta not spitting at lightning speed but its a nice change actually being able to understand what he’s saying; the guy’s a talented lyricist. The track’s got the usual airy and laid back vibe that comes with a Khalifa track so for those of you still looking to unwind from the long Monday grab the download and enjoy!

So here, ladies and gentlemen, is a recording session that everyone but Vanilla Ice could make. Although we’re not 100% sure where this track is going to end up, we do know it’s a Fat Joe track that is definitely a good look for him. Turns out Kanye West, Miguel, Jadakiss, Mos Def, DJ Khaled, Roscoe Dash, and Busta Rhymes are all on the intro, hook, and outro — AND the track is produced by the LEGENDARY Bink! Not too sure how Fat Joe got a hold of such a beat, but nonetheless peep the track below and enjoy!

Busta Rhymes is joined by fellow Conglomerate emcees J-Doe and Reek Da Villain on the new Jahlil Beats-produced single “King Tut.” The song is simplistic and only incorporates a select few samples and synths to mold the beat (including a kick ass Drop It Like It’s Hot -esque “cluck”).
