Big K.R.I.T. – King Remembered In Time (Full Mixtape)
Surprise, suprise Internets, as southern lyricist Big K.R.I.T. returns to the blogosphere with his 11th mixtape, King Remembered In Time. As per usual, the Mississippi rapper provides more a free album here with 17-tracks of original material, among which is “R.E.M.”, and a bevy of features.
The Def Jam rapper revealed the title in a previous interview at Atlanta’s Tree Sounds studio some months back, and now we finally receive the full project. The production was handled exclusively by K.R.I.T., with exception of one song produced by 9th Wonder.

DJ Khaled – They Ready ft. J. Cole, Big K.R.I.T., and Kendrick Lamar

Here’s the second of the night. Among the latest, of three newly released tracks, is arguably the most anticipated of all the song on the album: “They Ready” featuring J. Cole, Big K.R.I.T. and Kendrick Lamar. Like “Hip Hop” before it, “They Ready” is another strong offering, and never falls short of lyrical ferocity. From Cole, who also produced the record, to K.R.I.T. to Lamar, everybody came to win.

1982 (Statik Selektah & Termanology) – Lights Down ft. Big K.R.I.T.

For as long as I live, I will be truly amazed by the work of these two individuals. Statik and Term’ destroy this track with the help of Big K.R.I.T. (who is a great addition). The record provides a window into Term’s as he reflects about everything from conditions of his neighborhood to the path he’s traveled in the Rap game. “…In and outta labels all the time / Had to change up my ideas, had to switch up my design / Went from dreams of being major to the independent grind / When you come to think about it, man I’m doing just fine / ‘Cause I’m on that YouTube and I’m on that iPod / Of that girl in the front row screamin’ ‘my god.”
Such even-keeled self-analysis shows that Termanology isn’t your run-of-the-mill constant shit-talker. The self-reflection allows listeners to relate to Term and gives the album more depth. Enjoy!

Hip-Hop – Curren$y – Jet Life ft. Big K.R.I.T. and Wiz Khalifa

New leak from Curren$y tonight featuring two extremely “trendy” rappers right now, Big K.R.I.T. and Wiz Khalifa. The track, entitled “Jet Life”, remains constant with previous releases, containing airy synths/pads and laid back rhymes — something only relatable to those living that #JetLife.
