I’m gonna be honest, I don’t know how I slept on Minnesota for so damn long. Even after catching a little bit of his set at Camp Bisco XI, it still took me a little while to catch up on him and allow me to fix that by bringing you his Altered States EP, which dropped today. He takes a more Bassnectar type approach by focusing on bass music rather than “dubstep” and mixing in elements of hip-hop and trap rather than ear piercing screeches and the like.

Sometimes it’s simply better off leaving genres untouched. This bass & sample heavy take on Gary Jules classic Mad World done by Manic Focus leaves nothing to be desired.
