Adventure Club – Superheroes Anonymous Volume 1
There are few things better to me personally than a mix that toes the line between beautiful and brutal in the way that only Adventure Club seems to be able to do. They have started up their Superheroes Anyonymous mix series to follow the mix that the Canadian duo did for Life In Color. The mix ranges from dubstep to electro to trap and everything in between and is of course mixed to absolute perfection.

Ultra Music Festival Miami 2013 – Forever In My Mind Aftermovie
Although my FOMO was on full blast for the past two weekends, the joy that I saw Ultra Music Festival bring to people was a firm reminder of what is right about this culture. I couldn’t be happier to see Adventure Club getting the featured song with their moving remix of Yuna’s track Lullabies, which I won’t doubt will put some of you guys to tears that are having flashbacks.
A special video to thank everybody for an historic 15th anniversary of Ultra Music Festival in Miami. Attended by 330.000 people and watched by more than 10 million people on Youtube! We really made history together!
The clip shows some of the most magical moments to keep forever in your mind! But it’s just a little taste for what is to come in RELIVE ULTRA MIAMI 2013 (the official aftermovie) coming in June. #RELIVEULTRA

Adventure Club – Life In Color Mix
0Have I mentioned before that I really really like Adventure Club? These guys put together almost 30 minutes of flawless mixing of their signature melodic big bass sound for Life In Color (the show formerly known as Dayglow). They dropped their two latest remixes they’ve done for Yuna and Flight Facilities as well as an original from TNJ favorite Protohype!

Zedd – Clarity ft. Foxes (Aylen Remix)
1God I hate having two tests on one day. I’m gonna be rotting away in the library studying for most of today so my posts will be a bit sporadic but with that said, I couldn’t wait to get this up on the site. Aylen adds his name to the list of people who remixed Clarity since Zedd gave out the studio acapella and it has already became one of my favorites. He takes the Adventure Club/Seven Lions approach by employing some beautiful melodic progressions with a dubstep kinda feel to it.

Wolf Alice – Leaving You (Sound Remedy Remix)
0It’s safe to say that Sound Remedy is at the top of my list of producers to keep an eye out for in the near future. His style contains a lot of melody and big emotional ups and downs and I would put his sound somewhere between MitiS, Seven Lions and Adventure Club (not bad company). It’s awesome to see the continued influence of guitar in his track’s (he recorded his own guitar solo at the end of his Carousel remix) and this track retains a lot of the original guitar work as well. This one’s given out for free via his SoundCloud so give it a <3 on HypeM to show just how much you love this guy!

Adventure Club – Retro City (LOUDPVCK Remix)

Adventure Club have commissioned a ton of talented upcoming producers to remix their tracks, like Krewella, CRNKN, KDrew, and The Killabits to list a few. Well they asked new trap face LOUDPVCK, to completely destroy their track “Retro City”. The result is a full on certified trap anthem. Enjoy!

ThatNewJam September Mix mixed by McRandy
0I’ve been wrestling with the idea of whether to post this or not over the last couple days and in the name of being impulsive, I decided to go for it. This is a half hour or so mix that I put together last week under my SoundCloud name McRandy that showcases what I’ve been listening to and some of my favorite transitions between songs that I love to mess with. In the coming months, we can hopefully get mixes done by other artists instead of my Virtual DJ efforts but all in all, I’m pretty happy with this mix. You’ll be able to hear a couple hiccups along the way but practice makes perfect and I’m taking you guys along for the ride! Track listing after the jump!

Krewella – One Minute (Protohype Remix)

I’m admittedly not the biggest fan of big screechy dubstep. With that said, Protohype has found a pretty amazing balance between aggressive and melodic with this remix of Krewella. Utilizing the twins’ vocals as well as some hip-hop samples and arpeggiated synths, this installment of his #MusicMonday series (which I am disgustingly late on) has everything you bassheads could want. Hit the jump to get the rest of the #MusicMonday releases featuring remixes of Adventure Club, Three 6 Mafia and even some Vengaboys…you can’t even pretend to not be interested at that one.

Adventure Club – Need Your Heart ft. Kai (Candyland Remix)

I’m gonna be honest I had absolutely no idea what I was expecting when I hit play for this one. I was rewarded for my decision with an awesome nu-disco remix of Adventure Club’s Need Your Heart from California production duo Candyland. They use Kai’s vocals to perfection, chopping them up and sprinkling them throughout the track. Be bold and grab the download for your party pleasure, you won’t be dissapointed.

Adventure Club – Retro City

There is nothing that brightens my day quite like finding a new release from the Canadian dubstup tandem of Adventure Club. Retro City is their newest free release that opens with their signature flurry of chopped up vocal samples and melodic chord progressions, progresses into a downright dirty dubstep breakdown before they slow it down to that sweet 110 BPM and let the moombah take you to the end. These guys are far and away my favorite dubstep producers out right now and can only dream of the kinda pandemonium they induce in a live setting.
