50 Cent – We Up ft. Kendrick Lamar (Official Video)

50 Cent - We Up

50 Cent and Kendrick Lamar debut the official music video for “We Up”, the new single from 50′s Street King Immortal which is due out sometime this summer. Watch as 50 and Kendrick enjoy some of the finer things in life, all while showcasing their rhyme capabilities over a smooth instrumental. The previous visual for this track featured Kidd Kidd, who was later removed. Sucks to suck sometimes.

Eminem To Release Eighth Studio Album After Memorial Day

Shady Records President and long time manager for Eminem Paul Rosenberg recently told Billboard.com that Eminem’s 8th studio album is due out sometime post-Memorial Day 2013. Rumors swirled after Eminem put 2103 on a limited edition Detroit Tigers hat along with the years of release for his 7 previous albums. Rosenberg also went on to say that 50 Cent’s continuously-delayed album Street King Immortal will be released in the first half of this year as well as confirming Em will be executive producing the next album from Skylar Grey.

“We fully expect to be releasing a new Eminem album in 2013. He’s been working on it for some time,” The President of Shady Records stated. “It’s safe to say that it will be post-Memorial Day at some point, but we’re not exactly sure when. We’ve got some dates locked in for him to perform live in Europe in August, so we’re trying to see what else lines up.”

50 Cent Says French Montana Gave Him DJ Khaled Tape From ’09 (Update: French & 50 Exchange Tweets)

0

This week 50 Cent joked about French Montana and his music career, dubbing him the “new Ja Rule”. Yesterday, as more interview footage surfaces with 50 while he is on his full promo tip, he revealed that he knew French Montana for awhile, during his DVD days.

While talking to Big Boy on Power 106, 50 was asked what his relationship was like with French prior to his success, “I ran into him a few times, he was like a DVD dude. He would come and shoot DVD’s and stuff (as the camera person). You could tell he always wanted to be an artist, or be a part of being seen,” 50 said.

Fif goes on to reveal that during the period of time he was beefing with MMG boss Rick Ross, the Bad Boy rapper actually helped him by selling out DJ Khaled and giving him the tape of footage from Khaled’s mother’s house which he released in 2009. “When I got into it with Rick Ross and Khaled, I saw Khaled at the BET Awards when that happened, but I don’t actually remember seeing Ross, that sparked his interest or the things he said on his record to start. But I think that’s a part of hip hop, where a new artist attacks an established artist in order to generate the interest. That happened, I didn’t know who Rick Ross was, so I had to take a look. I do my homework, I find somebody who know somebody, that can give me some information, like who is. Frenchie, they got me the tape of his mother’s house, where his mom’s work at, the other cribs, the studios [Khaled's tape]. I ain’t taking no L’s”.

Watch the interview with Fif below. As well in the second video 50 talks on addressing Game on “My Life”, and says he has “no malice” for the rapper, although he thinks his career is done.

I wish I had some insight for you on this one but this one kinda came out of the blue to me thanks to Misha over at FITA. Still the clean version until we can find otherwise but this is quite a trio for a new track. I have no idea what project this is off of although its definitively 50 Cent’s track; regardless I didn’t know I’d ever see the day 50 and Adam Levine were on a song together and after one listen I’m pleasantly surprised.

50 Cent and Too $hort release the new video for “First Date”, the latest single off of his album, Street King Immortal. The video is directed by Elf Rivera and, let’s be honest, this catchy joint is all about what we are all thinking on the first night with a woman. In other news, Curtis is getting ready to shoot off his main single, “My Life”, featuring Eminem and Adam Levine on November 27th.

Until then, get a look at the new video for “First Date” and make sure you stay on the look out for Street King Immortal in 2013.

RL Grime – † HALLOWEEN MIX 2012 †

Who does it better than RL Grime/Clockwork depending on which name he chooses for the night? This dude absolutely throws DOWN mixing up some of my favorite tracks in the electronic incarnation of trap music and hip-hop game right now. The intro is pretty sweet and it moves right along dropping in some classic 50 Cent, Backseat Freestyle from Kendrick Lamar and his own original track Flood to wrap up a 33 minute set of filth. Happy Halloween!

50 Cent – New Day ft. Dr. Dre and Alicia Keys (Full)

0

50 Cent takes Alicia Keys’ recent single “New Day” and makes it his own with help from two longtime collaborators. Serving as the lead single to his next major label LP, “Street King Immortal”, 50′s version includes a verse from Dr. Dre and was mixed by the one and only Eminem. Dre’s production is on point, but I’m unsure whether the idea of recycling an already successful single is the right move (it’s actually a little strange to see). Overall though, the record could potentially provide much needed positive momentum for the G-Unit general both commercially and statistically. After all, both 50 AND Jimmy Iovine proclaimed “Street King Immortal” will best the legendary “Get Rich Or Die Tryin’”.

Surprisingly enough, this isn’t Keys’ first time lending a vocal for virtually two versions of the same single - 2009′s “Empire State Of Mind” appeared on Jay-Z’s “The Blueprint 3″, then was released as a “broken down” version on Keys’ “The Element Of Freedom”. Peep the single below.

Lloyd Banks – Bring It Back ft. Fabolous

0

Lloyd Banks’ long awaited mixtape, “V6″, finally shows its first real sign of life with this spacey track “Bring It Back”. Fabolous, who seems to have built good rapport with the G-Unit member, is featured and delivers a hot 16. Fans have been patiently waiting for this tape, but with no official date and broken down communication between 50 & Banks, hopefully it won’t be another 6 months before it drops.
