We’ve featured him as of late in no small part because of the above reasons; at 19 years old Myles Shear paints beautiful soundscapes with ambiance and melody meeting equal parts grit and grime. Rather than settling to produce what fits the mold of “electronic dance music”, his influences from artists as varied as Aphex Twin to Dillon Francis to Coyote Kisses have culminated in tracks like this Vibe Magazine exclusive track Supernova.
