With WMC and Ultra Music Festival coming in HOT, the world’s top DJs are starting to unleash some of their biggest bootlegs for crowds to get familiar with before their big sets. The duo of GTA aka JWLS & Van Toth teamed up with the man himself Diplo for this squeaky dutch house bootleg using the Missy Elliot classic track Work It. I’m personally loving this and as with all great things, they gave it out “GRATIS AS FUCK”.

I would like to extend a sincere congratulations to Diplo for making the biggest caricature of a mainstream song humanly possible with his remix of Psy’s earth-shattering hit Gangnam Style. I’m curious to see if mainstream radio will take to the Philly native’s latest remix featuring a trapped out instrumental and vocals from 2 Chainz & Tyga, 2 of the rappers who many pretentious lovers of music consider to be lame but their appeal is in the context of their music. It’s not supposed to make you introspective or emotionally moved…their shit just KNOCKS. The Afrojack remix has the same kinda vibe for me with an obvious dutch house club oriented twist. The most mainstream song ever with over 1 BILLION Youtube views was remixed to be about as mainstream as humanly possible with an almost troll-like grin from each artist. I will tell you that seeing Afrojack drop this remix at Pier 94 on New Years Eve was absolutely HUGE so grab the full remix EP on iTunes!

He took to Facebook a couple minutes ago to remind us that he’s got BIG expectations for Binghamton on Thursday when he makes his stop on the JACKED tour at the Binghamton University Events Center. I’m gonna do my first event review for the show and if all goes as planned, I may even have some goodies to give out to you guys through the show from Nick van de Wall. He released his track Annie’s Theme yesterday which is sure to be played out so loud no one on this campus can ignore all its bleepy high energy goodness. Bottom line is the gauntlet has been thrown down for our school now let’s show him an amazing time; let’s get weird. I genuinely have NO idea who Kirsty is but apparently the original was worthy of Afrojack’s effort’s to give it a truly Nick Van de Wall touch. Getting it’s official release today, this is a full blown club rager, full of progressive buildups that growl with all the gritty electro goodness you’ve come to associated with Afrojack as of late. The drops are full of that signature dutch house screeching that he’s come to grow has his own brand. I can’t wait to get a chance to meet him next Thursday when he stops by Binghamton for a stop on his Jacked tour that is spanning the globe!

This is too good. We gave you Steve Aoki and Angger Dimas’ original moombah rager back in May and now we get a brand new remix from Aoki’s buddy Afrojack. He drops the Iggy Azalea vocal a couple octaves and throws that dirty dutch club sound full force which I can’t even imagine is like live.

I know, I know. It’s almost gotta be time for this song to have run it’s course. The original Calvin Harris production was ridiculously radio-friendly and the Rihanna vocal has been used in a countless number of remixes and booties but this one is exceptional. The meteoric rise of Berlin-based producer/DJ Thomas Gold has been impressive to say the least and this dutch/electro break is enough to show why he’s gonna be finding his way to the top on the mainstream and club scenes.

Dutch producer Dash Berlin takes this Tupac and Dr. Dre classic and reworks it into a 2012 trance anthem! I’m honestly surprised that this worked as well as it did. Berlin takes Pac’s anthem-to-end-all-anthems and transforms it, layering those iconic vocals over some riveting and somehow completely fitting synths that are guaranteed to stir up a crowd during a live set.
