Seven Lions – Fevers ft. Minnesota & Mimi Page
There’s nothing like soothing bass music and masters of the craft Seven Lions & Minnesota picked today to release their song Fevers which has been in the works for over a year. With the help of vocalist Mimi Page, the track moves from gooosebump-inducing lows to the powerful and emotional highs that you come to expect from these two producers.

Krewella – Troll Mix Vol. 4 Get Ripped Or Die Trying
Volume 4 of Krewella’s TrollMix dropped today, Get Ripped or Die Trying. They troll hard this time by mixing some of their punk influences such as Sum 41 into this jam followed by hard drops left and right. Don’t worry this mix also has plenty of new dubstep and trap songs, providing some hard wubs. This mix of old and new will be sure to get you to play hard.

Rudimental Ft. John Newman- Feel The Love (Kill Paris Remix)

Kill Paris put his name on the map back in late February with his To A New Earth EP, out now on the OWSLA label. This man is at it again with his newest remix to Rudimental’s year old single featuring John Newman. This LA based producer makes music so funky that you almost think the White Cherry’s song “Play that funky music white boy” is about him, and this song is no different. I had the pleasure of seeing the debut of Kill Paris at his first Ultra Music Festival performance week one, early on a Saturday afternoon and he certainly did not disappoint. A little bit into his set he announced to the crowd that he was about to play a new song and then this beauty came slamming through the speakers at the OWSLA stage. Be sure to give this one a listen, out now on Beatport.

Sub Focus- Endorphins (Ft. Alex Clare)
Sub Focus has a created a new gem. About a week ago on UKF’s Dubstep Channel they released an what appears to be a shortened version of their upcoming single titled “Endorphins.” To be honest I don’t understand why it is under the genre of dubstep, but who am I to judge. Either way whatever genre this song is it’s great, and has a lot of passion behind it. It has a nice soft intro, and the vocals i find absolutely incredible for some reason. Nothing too complex about them, but just in the way it is said with the beat behind it really makes me think. I don’t know if everyone would find deep meaning it what appears to be such a simple song, but I do. Definitely a great tune which is something i could listen too when i’m at home, or put my hands up and sing at a concert. This track is pretty consistent throughout, and a nice calming song, which is different from my usual posts. Unfortunately the release date for this track May 26th 2013 on Mercury Records. For now you can just play the tune over and over on Youtube like i’ve been doing.

Tom Swoon ft. Amba Shepherd – Not Too Late (Bassnectar & PatrickReza Remix)
This is kinda a crazy post to write. When TNJ first started, Tom Swoon was still a relatively unknown Swedish producer named Pixel Cheese, PatrickReza was some kid that made “that dubwomping Skrillex music” and Bassnectar sounded like a snack sold at raves to me. I’m not saying I was the brightest bulb in the box back then. Fast forward to today and I have an absolute FIRE release for you guys out on Ultra Records that combines the haunting vocals of Amba Shepherd with the combined talents of the above-mentioned producers such as Bassnectar & PatrickReza’s ability to perfectly craft ear-pleasing wobbles. Grab the release on Beatport and support the artists if you like what you hear!

Event Review: Zedd @ Webster Hall 2.28
Arriving to a packed ballroom at Webster Hall on Thursday, 2/28, Zedd rose to cheers and cries from hundreds of adoring fans. Originally a one night gig, a second night was added due to the overwhelming fan response. Both nights quickly sold out and Zedd, along side Tommie Sunshine and Alex Metric made Webster Hall quake, clarifying exactly why these shows sold out in only a few hours.
By the time the 23-year-old Russian Anton Zaslavski (Zedd) hit the stage, Webster Hall was teaming with sweaty bodies ready to unleash havoc as the youngster dropped his first track.
Zedd – Spectrum ft. Matthew Koma
The ballroom erupted into a cluster of thrashing bodies as he played a wide “spectrum” of tracks (pun intended), dropping everything from trap to dubstep into his mix. Combined with a stellar light show (courtesy of Production Club’s Gabe Damast – whom we have an interview that’s soon to come) and superb delivery, Zedd confirmed that he is a larger than life talent and performer.
Atmospheric bliss erupted as the crowd swayed and sang their hearts out to Zedd’s number one hit “Clarity”.
Zedd – Clarity ft. Foxes (Zedd Union Mix)
Spinning a two-plus hour set, Zedd finally wrapped up around 1 a.m., but not before an epic encore in which he instructed everyone to “sit the fuck down” before his final drop.
And despite what could’ve been considered a “run of the mill” set list, there was not a single person in Webster Hall who was not entertained. It was visceral, raw, and fun – everything a show should be… We just hope that Zedd shows his face around New York City a little more often – I’m positive nobody will be complaining.

Dodge & Fuski Sucker Punch EP
Dodge & Fuski are back with a new EP off Skism’s Never Say Die label. The Sucker Punch EP makes a statement. I am glad to have some new Dodge Fuski in my life, becasue nothing really matches the intensity of their music. Each song has the vital Dodge & Fuski elements that makes their dubstep so special. In addition they add a little comedy in their song titled “Substance abuse“, with their explanation of catnip, before going into a monstrous drop, and seizure-like sound. The best song on the EP has to be “Sucker Punch”. Before going into its drop that will make u want to explode with passionate head-bopping it says “we are back,” and it really just puts a smile to my face. This EP is exactly what i expected from them, and the people who like this type of dubstep will be thrilled with this EP. Although i’m sure there will be some who don’t even understand how this is even music, and to i advise them to perhaps expand their horizons.

If you don’t know this by now, I am a huge fan of anything that is remotely in the realm of dubstep. Although as of late i’ve been trying to expand my horizons on the electronic music I listen to, and the artists I listen to. Below are bunch of tracks that once again encompass many genres of electronic music. Some of these are much more well known then others. Be sure to listen to them all, because it never hurts to try the widen the array of music that one listens to.
