There are few people that are as interesting to me like OWSLA’s very own Alvin Risk. The only way I can think to describe his previous releases is frenzied but his latest single SKYCLAD is a wild departure from what I was expecting. The first surprise came after he sang backup for Zedd on The Late Show when I realized that Alvin Risk sings on his own tracks, something that you don’t see all too often but I respect a lot. Rather than the psychotic energy of tracks like Survival, this track is absolutely beautiful while still retaining his signature aggressive breakdowns.
